MTV - ‘Off the Air’ animation series
Role: 3D Character, Narrative & Animation.
I created an animated clip for “Off the Air”, the experimental art series by Adult Swim (MTV), featured in the episode “Dreams.”
The piece explores the fluid transitions between consciousness and sleep through 3D animation, motion design, and digital sculpture.
Blurring the boundaries between surrealism and technology, the clip reflects my ongoing research on dreamscapes, symbolic imagery, and immersive visual storytelling.
Motion approach
Motion was designed to articulate transitions between states of perception, using fluid timing and continuous transformation to convey shifts in consciousness. Animations emphasized seamless state changes, controlled pacing, and visual continuity, allowing movement to function as a narrative connector rather than a purely expressive gesture.
